What We Believe
Oak Forest United Methodist Church is part of a global church that embraces a mindset of open hearts, open minds, and open doors through welcoming all and actively engaging our world with the love of God.
John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on grace, on Christian living, on putting faith and love into action. This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as "practical divinity" has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today.
We invite you to learn more about our rich theological heritage on UMC.org here.
