Join us October 16th at 6 p.m. downtown on the square for the Anything Pumpkin and Chili Cook-off! We will have Ruth Harper's secret Pumpkin Muffin recipe for one of our entries. We will also have "Heavenly Cow Blessed Chili!" I don't know how heavenly or blessed it will be, but it will surely have some cow in it. Your votes can help us win! And you can stand with us and help us meet our neighbors!

Saturday, October 31st, from 4 to 9 p.m. OFUMC will be setting up our awesomely decorated Halloween table and giving out candy to Trick or Treaters! Join us and meet the crowds and compliment them on their creative Halloween costumes! There is a prize and for best decorated table, so if you have suggestions let Pastor Tim know.

On October 25, 2026, at 2 p.m., Oak Forest UMC will host Hickory Stand for Charge Conference. Our District Superintendent, Reverend Beth Crissman, will preside. Beth will also be preaching at both churches that Sunday. For more information about Beth, check out her bio on this page. Mark your calendars and come out for Charge Conference and meet our DS!
